We don’t run our own physical lab. Instead, our editorial team cross-references manufacturer claims against the full body of published clinical research, third-party lab certifications, and regulatory filings.
Step 1: Ingredient Verification
We compile the full ingredient list and cross-check each active compound against the dose used in peer-reviewed clinical trials. Proprietary blends that hide individual dosages are flagged as a transparency concern.
Step 2: Literature Review
For every key ingredient, we search PubMed and Cochrane Library for randomized controlled trials, meta-analyses, and systematic reviews. We weigh study quality, sample size, and whether results have been independently replicated.
Step 3: Manufacturing Standards Check

Step 4: Safety & Interaction Review
Our medical reviewer checks for known drug interactions, contraindications, and safety flags associated with each ingredient at the dose provided, referencing sources like the NIH Office of Dietary Supplements.
Step 5: Independent Write-Up
The review is written based solely on the findings above. Affiliate relationships are never disclosed to the writer until after the score is finalized, to prevent unconscious bias.
